About

Andrew Engineering started out in 1951 as an Engineering Company primarily selling components to the burgeoning Australian Automotive Industry.

This continued for over 60 years, with Tooling, Fixturing, and Special Purpose Equipment driving the businesses success.

In 2007, Andrew Engineering witnessed the decline of the Automotive Industry and diversified into Rail. Soon after we secured a contract for the supply of the 36 station Bogie Exchange System for the Auburn Maintenance Centre (Auburn NSW).

Since completing this initial Project, Andrew Engineering along with our strategic partners, has gone on to complete Rolling Stock Infrastructure Projects in every State of Australia.

Projects involved the supply of High Quality Maintenance Equipment to Major Rail Providers such as Downer EDI Rail, Bombardier/Alstom, United Group Ltd, Tasrail, and DPTI South Australia as well as the Rail Divisions of Fortescue Metals Group, BHP, and Rio Tinto.

In 2016 Andrew Engineering diversified further with the acquisition of Fordham Engineering consolidating our position in the Defence & Aerospace Sector.

More recently, we’ve formed Strategic Partnerships allowing us to move into the Construction and Infrastructure Industry with a strong focus on High Rise Façade Access and Powerline Hardware Components.

Andrew Engineering employs over 60 personnel across our two facilities in Heidelberg and Oakleigh, Victoria, with our Through Life Support Team operating Nationally throughout Australia and across the New Zealand and South East Asian Markets.
