Andrew Engineering is pleased to announce FMG have engaged our organisation to supply and install two new Ore Car Lifting Stations for the expanded Thomas Yard Facility. The stations will provide a 50% increase to FMG’s Ore Car Maintenance Capacity helping them to further cement their place as a Globally Recognised Iron Ore Miner.
Each Lifting Station consists of 8 sub floor mounted lifting jacks, with adjustable anvils and powered retractable floor covers. Jack Stations are operated from Main Consoles containing high end Siemens Control Systems, WinCC HMI’s and SCADA. System components are networked using Profisafe ensuring high reliability and World Class Safety Technology. To minimise downtime and avoid costly interface issues, Andrew Engineering’s design team has 3D Modelled all equipment, foundation works and service reticulation paths.
Design and long lead time procurement works are well underway with manufacturing projected to kick off in July. Watch this space for further updates…….
