Data Such as Vehicle Identification, profile variation, runout, diameter and the presence of cracks is captured, stored and analysed in the Propriety Database located next to the detection equipment. This sophisticated software analyses the information and provides trending data that can then be used to highlight rolling stock interface issues and predict maintenance intervals.
With measuring speeds of 15km/hr and bypass speeds of 30, the system provides key data with minimal disruption to efficient vehicle operation.
Via networking, captured data can also be compiled and transferred to a Hegenscheidt Wheel Lathe to further improve the efficiency of the Wheel Re-profiling process.
